The ITSHEC project had a special participation in the 8th International Conference on Higher Education Advances (HEAd’22), held from 15 to 17 July at the Faculty of Business Administration and Management of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Nathália Rosa (project manager and investigator of ITSHEC) presented the project and its first product: the Methodological Guide “Learning strategies to promote transversal skills on health and social care studies“.
The guide includes different strategies for developing students’ transversal skills, specifically critical and creative thinking, interpersonal/socioemotional and citizen-oriented skills and learning to learn, particularly in healthcare and social care.
The primary use of the methodological guide is to assist lecturers in planning, integrating it into their teaching activity, and evaluating the improvement of transversal skills in undergraduate and postgraduate students
This conference is a consolidated forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions, and research results relating to the preparation of students, teaching/learning methodologies, and the organization of educational systems.
ITSHEC’s participation in international events is a fundamental part of the project strategy, with the aim of developing internationalisation skills and promoting the project’s networking.
